If you received an alert on your Indicator or EA regarding an update required or a message that your tool will stop working in February there is no need to worry.
There is an update required that will affect both free and paid products. This update is an update related to the tools and not to Metatrader.
In short, you will need to download the updated indicator or EA file and replace your current one.
- Simply download the indicator again from the indicator page
We want to reassure you that you purchased a full licence and NOT a rent use of the product, so you don’t have to pay anything as you already purchased the tool.
This kind of updates are rare but sometimes necessary.
- If you don’t have an account, please create one Registering with the same email you used for the purchase
- Login to your account
- Go into your Purchase History, you will find a list of the products that you purchased and associated with your email address. You can download the tools as many times as you want.
- If you don’t see your download available please Contact Us providing the original Purchase ID and Email used for the purchase.
Some Indicators or EAs might have more parameters, or newer parameters, being updated versions.
Some others will look exactly like the previous version.
I suggest to keep a copy of the previous file before overwriting it with the new.
Please check the parameters when you mount the tool the first time.
The installation process doesn’t change, you will need to replace the existing file with the updated one that you downloaded in the previous step.
